Sachiko Smale, the proprietor and creative florist of Libby Ferris Flowers is a British Master Florist and a qualified teacher and lecturer. Sachiko is unique among the florists in the region as she is also a traditionally trained and qualified Ikebana practitioner. The traditional skills and design concepts that are fundamental to Ikebana bring an added Japanese dimension to her creative flair.
Sachiko is a Chelsea Flower Show Medalist and was South West regional champion of the World Skills UK competition.Sachiko regularly gives demonstrations of her skills in floristry, including events at The Eden Project in Cornwall and recently was invited to produce an arrangement for the World Flower Council Summit held at the Sheraton Hotel in London.
Libby Ferris Flowers offers a wide range of floral designs and services. We are able to create designs which can be contemporary or traditional, historically themed or have a multi-cultural inspiration. Whatever the requirement Sachiko and her team will produce innovative and individualised designs which are crafted to the highest level.
